Traditional medicine (also called healing and healing) -a set of empirical knowledge accumulated by the people used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases andpassed down from generation to generation.Some of the methods of traditional medicine, for which the effectiveness and safety are proven, can be adopted by modern medicine.But also traditional medicine can include elements of magic, esotericism and "alternative", often ineffective, or even dangerous methods of treatment.In addition to the term "traditional medicine", "traditional medicine" is sometimes found in the same meaning.
The term "traditional medicine" as defined by the World Health Organization refers to areas such as: Chinese medicine, Indian Ayurveda, Unani Arabic medicine and other forms of indigenous medicine.
In countries where “traditional medicine” is not included in the national health care system, it is often referred to as "Additional", "alternative" or "non-traditional".
